This 40th-anniversary, first-time release was carefully assembled by Nash and producer Joel Bernstein. While Stephen Stills’ “Suite: Judy Blue Eyes,” Graham Nash’s “Teach Your Children” and “Our House,” Neil Young’s “Ohio,” and David Crosby’s “Guinevere” and “Long Time Gone” are among the CSNY highlights, many songs here were issued as solo projects, including Stills’ solo hit “Love the One You’re With” and Young’s “Old Man,” which sound right at home with their sometimes bandmates. While the complete album comes highly recommended, this highlight reel may suffice for casual fans, who are treated to a careful balance of the four members’ talents and songs. This Selections edition contains 16 highlights from what was a three-plus hour concert, pulled together from nine different shows during CSNY’s 1974 large outdoor football-stadium tour. The amount of energy this band stirs up on this track exceeds all the energy of the first album put together. Sheet music arranged for Piano/Vocal/Chords in C Major. Supposedly (according to Stephen Barncard) this was recorded live in the studio. Print and download Suite: Judy Blue Eyes sheet music by Crosby Stills & Nash. The standard edition of this collection features the complete 40-track concert, while the deluxe edition adds 40-plus minutes of professional video footage and a digital booklet with photos, liner notes, and credits. This is the one and only time when Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young actually sounds like a rock and roll band.
